yahoo news: RIVERDALE, Utah - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. apologized to a Muslim woman who said she was mocked because of her face veil.

“Please don’t stick me up,” a cashier told the shopper on Feb. 2, according to The Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Wal-Mart apologized Monday in a letter signed by Rolando Rodriquez, a vice president and regional general manager. It was released Tuesday by the council’s Nevada chapter.

T|B Opinion: Listen up, America. Get your head out of the Muslim ass - - because you are suffocating this nation and restricting yourselves as “free thinkers”.

Honestly, I’m offended that Wal-Mart rushed to offer an official apology for this incident. Whether the cashier’s comment, “Please don’t stick me up”, was an offensive joke or a truthful plea of fear, is irrelevant - - Americans are uneasy with the Muslim culture - - and we should be. They do not have the core beliefs found in most Americans. We differ on opinions of religion, civil rights, free speech, equality, etc. -

Oh, and they have this little group known as “extremists”. But we’re not supposed to talk about them because the “extremists” only represent a fraction of the Muslim community and it is politically incorrect to associate this minority group with the whole. Give me a fucking break, already. Hitler’s clan started off as a minority group and look what the hell happened. Of course, some Muslims will tell you the holocaust never occurred - - how ironic.

My point: Extreme Muslims hate everything about the western culture and they want us converted or dead. They see us as infidels ( one without faith ) and will kill us for not having the same religious beliefs they have…in fact, they feel their god will reward them for killing us. We are talking about the same twisted group of people that think strapping a bomb to themselves and committing mass murder, as well as suicide, will result in a place in their heaven, the praise of their god, and a brothel of virgins willing to satisfy their sexual desires.

And the Muslim community, as a whole: I hold you responsible for letting your whack-job extremists run loose, for not containing them, for allowing them to grow in numbers, and for sitting quietly after they flew planes into our buildings, killing thousands of innocents. Shame on you. How dare you sit idle - - pointing your finger instead of rising up and crushing the group that is poisoning your culture. How dare you preach peace to me and cast blame elsewhere.

This group of extremists is the mutant offspring of your twisted religion - - it is your fault. You fix it. Until you do, we will be uncomfortable with your culture and the ignorance will continue, from both sides.

Ignorance is not bliss, it is not isolated. It is religion.

Before I get too far off track, let’s forget about the extremists and get back to the Muslim community, as a whole, being offended. This amazes me. What is it with the teddy bears, the images of the Mohammed, 3 little pigs, etc.? Do you really expect the rest of the world to cater to your sensitive feelings? Your community wanted a teacher punished and imprisoned because she allowed a student to name a teddy bear “Mohammed”. Your community wants a children’s book banned because it features pigs as the main characters. Are you not aware how blinded you are by your precious faith? Do you not see the level of intolerance that you possess? Your religion is corrupting your ability to think for yourselves and your ability to function in any society not guided by your principles. Do you really believe it is an insult to your religion because some Danish cartoonist drew pictures of Mohammed? If so, doesn’t that make you the ultimate hypocrite? You have thrashed other religions for years - - far beyond drawing pictures of other prophets in newspapers. The absurdity of it all is mind boggling.

Standing up for what you believe in is commendable. Forcing others into your thought process is a crime. Nobody is forcing the Muslim community to view images of Mohammed, nobody if forcing your children to read “Three Little Pigs”.  Why do you insist on being offended by the actions of others when there is no consequence to your core beliefs? What is the benefit? If you truly wish to convert us all, then wouldn’t it stand to reason that tolerance would be key?

I’m offended that my business has to pay tax, while the business of church is given a pass because it’s customers believe in ghosts.

I’m offended that people expect me not to keep a sharp eye on muslims acting suspicious in the street, a mall, or a church.

I’m offended by any and all companies that have options for any language other than English.

I’m offended by any and all companies who’s customer service line is answered by Habib pretending his name is Steve.

I’m offended that I’m a racist for saying Nigger, yet it can be featured in every song on 85% of the albums in the billboard top 20.

I’m offended that The State of Ohio could rip us off for years for and extra $20 raping for E-Check, but then just trade it for some other consession that would net them more money.

I’m offended that my tax base is now screwed up into some regional tax system called RITA, where my tax rate isn’t based on the community I live in, but the composite value of multiple cities that band together solely to rape the working man further.

I’m offended by people that read so little about the war to be able to say “this is a war for oil”.

I’m offended by our government not admitting that part of the war is for oil.

I’m offended that I’m supposed to give two fucks for that Bhutto chick, when your people consistently and publicly lambast our president.

I’m offended that non-radical muslims don’t at least come to the table and admit that some of the radical things that happen ARE caused by the writings of the Quoran.

I’m offended by people that don’t hate illegal immigrants.

I work for Wal*Mart and that cashier probably lost her $7.00 an hour job over this issue. They probably used “Respect for the Individual” as their to do it. When did we Americans lose the ability to respect ourselves, our Nation, and our varied cultural backgrounds???!!!
I recently lost a job because although I was more qualified, I was not bilingual (the politically correct term for spanish speaking)! I can speak Frence although not fluently.
So years of education and experience in the field are cast aside in favor of one whose linguistics skills include spanish, but little else related to the position in question.
I am becoming ashamed of what it now means to be “AMERICAN”. The symbol of our nation should not be a glorious waving flag or high flying Bald Eagle, but a cocoa door mat with the saying “Wipe Here!”
