Obama, McCain Extend Winning Streaks

cnn.com: Overwhelmingly carrying Wisconsin and Hawaii, Sen. Barack Obama rolled to his 10th consecutive win, while Sen. John McCain picked up two more states in his march to the GOP nomination.

In the Wisconsin primary, Obama beat Sen. Hillary Clinton 58 percent to 41 percent, with 99 percent of the precincts reporting.

The senator from Illinois also won the caucuses in Hawaii, his native state, over Clinton 76 percent to 24 percent, with all precincts reporting.

Obama has emerged as the Democratic front-runner by putting together a string of victories following a split decision with Clinton in the Super Tuesday contests two weeks ago.

John McCain still has trouble with GOP voters who consider themselves “very conservative,” but his strength among moderates and those who say they are only “somewhat conservative” made up for the deficit among the more orthodox in Tuesday’s GOP primary in Wisconsin, exit polls showed.
